This Saturday and Sunday, Suveg Cellars will be hosting a Yucaipa Wine Industry Event for those looking to get involved and ask questions about the industry's development. Since the last City Council meeting, we have had an outpouring of support for the burgeoning Yucaipa Valley Wine Industry, with many people asking how they can participate. This is why we're getting members of the Yucaipa Valley Wine Alliance Board to come together and discuss their experiences building our nascent wine industry, and what's to come in the future.

Saturday from 3pm - 5pm we will have 3 speakers: 

Board Member Mike Stubbs will discuss how winery finances work, as well as the in and outs of fiscally managing a growing wine business.

Board Member David Cohen will discuss the benefits that an AVA brings to the city in the form of a support service industry.

Board Member and President Craig Suveg will discuss the overall vision of a Yucaipa Wine Industry, and what it means for the future of the Yucaipa Valley. 

Sunday from 3pm - 5pm we will have 2 speakers:

Board Member and Vice President Preston Todd, the largest grape grower in the Yucaipa Valley will discuss managing a vineyard, growing grapes, and how to grow more wineries like his own.

Board Member Anita Matlock, Owner and Winemaker at Yucaipa's second bonded winery, Wildwood Oak, will speak about winemaking, running a winery, and where she sees the Yucaipa Wine industry heading.
